Setter Prioritization
Setter Prioritization:
All our sessions have three priority slots for setters.
To register as a setter, simply put "(s)" after your name during registration.
Setters must ensure that they are proficient in setting.
Beginner setters or non-setters are not allowed to register as setters.
Other players may report in the group if a registered setter does not perform their role adequately.
Setter should assist in setting the ball for players to hit during free spiking between games.
Slot Sharing (to be updated with Reclub interface)
Slot Sharing:
Slot sharing is allowed as long as it doesn't affect other players' playtime.
For example, player A and B sharing slot. Player A played the first game, and then player B play the second game. After that, both of them need to rest during the third game.
Player A and B cannot play the same game.
General Etiquettes and Culture on the Court
Normally, teams are randomly formed. Players may ask to switch players if balancing is required.
To ensure everyone gets a fair amount of playtime, each player can only play a maximum of 2 consecutive games.
After every game, players may have 2-3 minutes of free spiking.
During a game, resting players may help keep track of the score with the scoreboard provided.
Female players normally cross with each other.
Shout "ball" or "serving" before serving to alert all players.
Roll the ball to the opponent when a point is over. Avoid throwing the ball as it might hit someone.
Normally, team formation starts as shown in the images below. If you are new, you may want to learn about the specific positions on YouTube or simply ask anyone during a session.
